Our client, a sportswear and activewear company, is looking for a VP of Sourcing and Production to join their team in NYC! Responsibilities: • Manage all aspects of global apparel sourcing and production • Lead and grow the sourcing matrix, production team, and QC function • Negotiate cost, delivery, and payment terms with global vendors • Maintain and develop strategic factory partnerships worldwide • Manage production in duty-free and emerging markets • Ensure all product testing, quality, and compliance standards are met • Work closely with sales and merchandising to achieve target costs • Coordinate production timelines, deliveries, and shipping with internal operations • Ensure vendor compliance with customer and regulatory requirements • Experience producing for e-commerce and wholesale partners, including major retailers (e.g. Costco, Walmart, Macy’s) • International travel required as needed Requirements: • 10+ years of global sourcing/production experience in apparel • Broad relationships with trusted factory partners across categories • Strong understanding of product development, costing, and compliance • Proven leadership of sourcing, production, and quality teams • Experience across both direct-to-consumer and wholesale channels • Must be NYC-based; this is not a remote position
