Who We’re Looking For: WMP Eyewear is on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Email Marketing Specialist to own and elevate our retention marketing strategy across email and SMS. This is a hands-on, data-driven role focused on building campaigns that deepen customer loyalty, increase repeat purchases, and drive measurable revenue. If you’re passionate about customer journeys, thrive on performance insights, and love crafting messaging that actually converts, we want to hear from you. What You’ll Do: • Own the strategy, calendar, and execution of all email and SMS campaigns, from one-off promos to complex automations. • Build and optimize lifecycle flows across Klaviyo and Attentive (e.g. welcome series, abandonments, post-purchase, replenishment, VIP, win-back). • Lead testing efforts across both channels: subject lines, send times, creative, copy, segmentation, and more. • Collaborate closely with our creative team to bring on-brand content to life in both email and SMS formats. • Use behavior and purchase data to build smart segments that deliver the right message at the right time. • Monitor compliance and deliverability, including CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and TCPA requirements. • Track KPIs and performance (revenue per send, click rate, open rate, opt-out rate) and share insights to drive growth. • Partner with eComm, paid, and CX teams to ensure messaging is cohesive across all customer touch points. • Manage list health and audience syncs across Klaviyo, Attentive, and Shopify. What You Bring: • 4+ years of experience in email and SMS marketing, ideally within a DTC e-commerce brand • Proven track record of growing performance through segmentation, automation, and testing • Expertise in Klaviyo for email and Attentive or Postscript for SMS • Strong grasp of customer lifecycle marketing and audience targeting • Comfort digging into numbers and translating data into action • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple moving pieces • Great communicator with a creative mindset and solid eye for brand voice Bonus If You Have: • Experience with Shopify, Google Analytics, Okendo or other retention tools • Basic HTML/CSS skills for light email edits • Familiarity with SMS growth tactics, opt-in strategies, and deliverability best practices
