Role description
Summary β€’ We are looking for a skilled and proactive Senior Frontend Developer to join our team. As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining high-performance, user-friendly, and responsive eCommerce websites on Shopify. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects with a focus on front-end development, UI/UX, and system optimization. Job Duties β€’ Customize Shopify themes using Liquid, JSON, and Shopify Plus features β€’ Implement and manage API integrations with Shopify, including webhooks β€’ Build responsive, user-friendly UIs using React, HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript β€’ Ensure cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization for the site β€’ Collaborate with design, sales, and product teams to meet project goals β€’ Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain site stability β€’ Maintain version control with Git and ensure smooth deployment workflows β€’ Write clear documentation for new features, processes, and onboarding Skills β€’ Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript β€’ Experience with state management tools like Redux and React Context API β€’ Knowledge of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and WCAG accessibility standards β€’ Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress β€’ Proficiency in Git and version control workflows β€’ Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines β€’ Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams Requirements β€’ 3+ years of industry experience working as a Full Stack Engineer β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field β€’ Proven experience in Shopify platform, Liquid, and API integrations β€’ Familiarity with testing frameworks and site optimization best practices β€’ U.S. work authorization required β€’ New employees to Spigen Inc, will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
