Position Summary: Adrianna Papell is seeking a Sr. International Account Executive to accelerate our growth in international markets. This role will be responsible for expanding Adrianna Papell’s footprint across global department stores, online retailers, and specialty shops. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in driving international wholesale sales for a U.S. fashion brand and an entrepreneurial spirit for identifying new global retail opportunities. Key Responsibilities: • Market Expansion: Develop and execute sales strategies to expand into new international markets and accounts, including luxury department stores, premium online platforms, and upscale boutiques. • Account Development: Identify, pitch, and close new wholesale opportunities while nurturing and expanding existing partnerships. • Buyer Relations: Build strong relationships with international buyers and merchandisers; lead seasonal line showings and virtual sell-ins. • Assortment Planning: Work closely with product and merchandising teams to tailor collections and pricing for local markets. • Sales Forecasting: Own seasonal projections, order management, and sell-through analysis to maximize performance and minimize markdowns. • Market Knowledge: Analyze trends, competitor placements, and consumer behavior by region to inform strategy. • Trade Shows & Travel: Represent the brand at international fashion weeks, tradeshows, and account visits (30–50% travel). • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, operations, planning, and finance to ensure smooth order fulfillment and localized brand support. Qualifications: • 5+ years of international wholesale experience, ideally with a U.S.-based fashion or lifestyle brand. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or related field. • Existing relationships with international department stores, online retailers, or fashion boutiques. • Strong understanding of global fashion retail dynamics, especially in Europe, Middle East, and Asia. • Experience with digital wholesale platforms (e.g., JOOR, NuOrder). • Proficiency in line building, margin negotiations, and retail calendar planning. • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.. • Multilingual skills or international background is a plus Who You Are: • A strategic seller with a global outlook. • An experienced wholesale pro with a passion for fashion. • A relationship-builder who thrives in diverse, cross-cultural settings. • A driven, independent self-starter with proven sales performance in international markets.
