Responsibilities
• Analyze sales, vendor performance, and inventory position to goals by vendor and category
• Partner with DMM, buying groups, and category merchandising to activate and maintain drop-ship relationships for Omnichannel to achieve sales
• Create and deliver quarterly drop ship reviews of successes, opportunities, and go-forward plans to activate additional vendors, discuss opportunities, and further leverage momentum
• Collaborate with buying and category management teams on approach to grow drop-ship sales via expanded vendor base or SKU proliferation
• Partner with major external vendor partners to develop and deliver a great customer experience and ensure the brands are well-positioned to deliver against customer and brand expectations
• Responsible for training and onboarding new team members
• Leads training sessions to educate internal partners on Drop Ship Processes
• Continuously review, enhance, and review Drop Ship Processes
• Partner with internal business units including but not limited to contact center, Omnichannel category management, merchants, vendor relations, and logistics
• Serve as a subject matter expert on internal processes and third-party integrations or solutions
• Provide input and assist in the development of system and process enhancements, special features, and general functionality to support the DSV program
• Collaborate with buying and Omnichannel teams on approach to grow drop-ship sales and vendor base
• Develop a prioritization schedule for the category and/or vendor rollout in collaboration with the category management team and Omnichannel merchandising
• Develop an efficient onboarding workflow
• Enhance current online assortment through category optimization, and partner with Omnichannel Merchandising team and Category Management team to develop new businesses and product offerings through the drop ship
• Manages Key Vendor Accounts
• Generate and distribute weekly, monthly, and annual reports
• Develop a thorough understanding of the Academy’s policies, procedures, and safety rules
• Duties may change; team members may be required to perform other duties as assigned
