Newegg is seeking a highly experienced Sr. Manager, Merchandising Management to lead, scale, and optimize the performance of our product category. This role is responsible for developing merchandising strategies, managing vendor relationships, driving high-impact campaigns, and ensuring profitable growth across key product lines.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
β’ Lead merchandising strategy for assigned product category, driving sales growth and profitability.
β’ Build and manage relationships with top-tier vendors and sellers to develop strategic merchandising partnerships.
β’ Develop and execute merchandising programs and promotional campaigns aligned with category goals.
β’ Collaborate with Product Management to ensure inventory availability and alignment with promotional plans.
β’ Manage daily deal initiatives, site placement, and exposure opportunities for high-performing products.
β’ Monitor competitor websites to identify trends, assess pricing, and enhance Neweggβs positioning.
β’ Identify and maximize vendor incentive opportunities through innovative programs and negotiation.
β’ Analyze internal and external trends to inform category planning and go-to-market strategies.
β’ Coordinate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure flawless execution.

Job Requirements
β’ Bachelorβs Degree in Marketing, Merchandising, or related field; Masterβs degree is a plus.
β’ 7+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in merchandising within an IT e-commerce environment.
β’ Proven experience working with major brand vendors and managing vendor-funded programs.
β’ Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and convert insights into actionable plans.
β’ Deep knowledge of both e-commerce and traditional marketing practices.
β’ Excellent oral and written communication skills.
β’ Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills with a strategic mindset.
β’ Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Mental Functions: Decisions may affect a work unit or area within a department. May contribute to business and operational decisions that affect the department. This position performs a variety of routine duties within established policies and procedures or by referral to supervisor's guidelines.
