As the Sr. Manager, Merchandising Strategy – US & Canada, you will serve as the strategic partner to the USCA Merchandising leadership team. You will lead the development, communication, and execution of cross-category, data-informed merchandising strategies that support Levi's® brand and financial goals across the US and Canada markets.
In this highly visible role reporting into the VP, US/Canada Merchandising & Licensing, you'll drive alignment across Merchandising, Planning, Sales, and Brand functions to deliver elevated strategies for assortments that are consumer-led, channel-relevant, and financially sound.
About The Job
• Strategic Merchandising Leadership
• Partner with USCA Merchandising Leadership team to translate brand strategy into seasonal product strategies and assortment frameworks
• Lead development of strategic growth initiatives by gender/category, based on data, consumer insights, and market trends
• Serve as the voice of the USCA consumer, driving integration of marketplace and consumer insights into line planning decisions
• Seasonal Planning & Commercial Strategy
• Align key cross-functional partners on seasonal priorities, investment drivers, and strategic category goals
• Drive process for pre-season strategy alignment and in-season performance recaps for VP and executive-level reviews
• Lead and refine key strategic frameworks, such as SKU strategy, Pricing strategy, and PC9 framework for the region
• Data & Insights
• Lead the development of seasonal hindsight, category diagnostics, competitive analyses, and consumer/shopper research syntheses
• Provide strategic readouts to influence key go/no-go decisions, product investments, and future line direction
• Partner with Planning, Consumer Insights, and Global Merchandising to ensure insights flow into GTM decisions
• Cross-Functional Influence & Communication
• Lead cross-functional meetings and presentations with Global, Regional teams
• Create strategic tools and communication formats to improve decision-making, transparency, and accountability
• Translate complexity into simple, actionable strategies for senior leaders and cross-functional partners
• Team Leadership
• Lead cross-functional workstreams and strategic projects across the USCA merchandising ecosystem
• Foster an analytical and collaborative team culture
About You
• Bachelor's degree in business, merchandising, strategy, or related field
• Minimum 7–9 years of experience in merchandising strategy, retail consulting, category management, or product planning
• Strong understanding of merchandising, line planning, financial KPIs, and go-to-market cycles
• Ability to synthesize data into insights and actions
• Deep understanding of retail, apparel, and consumer behavior
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint; familiarity with PLM, Assortify, and BI tools
This is a hybrid position based in our San Francisco, CA headquarters. You will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs.
The expected starting salary range for this role is $132,900 - $177,200 per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs.
