About the Role: Curaleaf is seeking a Sr. Merchandising Analyst to join our Florida team. This strategic individual contributor role supports our Retail organization by managing item setup in the POS system, maintaining accurate product information, and driving category management initiatives. A key focus is analyzing the Florida market to ensure the right items, pricing, and innovations are represented in-store and online, helping us stay competitive and relevant to our customers.
This role serves as a critical communication bridge between store teams, regional leadership, and national stakeholders to ensure alignment on merchandising priorities. The Sr. Merchandising Analyst will advocate for the customer value proposition, ensuring our product assortment, pricing, and innovation consistently deliver value and differentiation in a dynamic market.
What You’ll Do:
• Create and maintain product records in the POS system with accuracy and compliance
• Support category management by tracking product performance and assortment gaps
• Analyze market trends to ensure the right items and innovations are represented in Florida stores
• Review pricing regularly to ensure competitiveness and alignment with business goals
• Communicate directly with store teams to ensure accurate execution of product and pricing updates
• Act as a liaison with regional and national leadership to align on strategy and priorities
• Champion the customer value proposition by ensuring assortments and pricing deliver clear value
• Collaborate with planning and operations teams to maintain clean product catalogs and retire SKUs when needed
• Assist with reporting and analytics to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
• Stay current on State regulatory changes to ensure compliant and accurate product displays on eCommerce menus while working with Sweed, Dutchie, and other apps
What You’ll Bring:
• Proven experience in merchandising, category management, or retail analytics, ideally in a fast-paced, multi-unit environment
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate insights into actionable strategies
• Strong understanding of retail pricing strategies, product lifecycle management, and customer segmentation
• Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Omni, Power BI); experience with POS (Sweed, Dutchie, etc…)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, catalog management, and reporting
• Strategic mindset with a customer-first approach to merchandising decisions
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently, with a proactive and solution-oriented attitude
• Passion for innovation and continuous improvement in retail merchandising
• Familiarity with eCommerce platforms and the regulatory standards governing compliant product presentation and menu visibility.
