Role description
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical SEO Analyst to own and drive the technical optimization of our website with the goal of improving organic and AI/LLM search performance. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal crawlability, indexation, site speed, and linking architecture, while working closely with cross-functional teams. If you're passionate about SEO, performance metrics, and site architecture β€” and have the coding chops to automate and scale β€” we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities β€’ Analyze server logs to optimize crawler behavior, identify crawl budget inefficiencies, and manage sitemaps and robots.txt. β€’ Conduct deep technical SEO audits addressing architecture, canonicalization, structured data, hreflang, internal linking, and mobile usability. β€’ Monitor and enhance site performance using tools like Lighthouse and PageSpeed Insights, focusing on Core Web Vitals and rendering performance. β€’ Automate SEO tasks using Python (e.g., BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium) to parse logs, audit URLs, and surface SEO issues. β€’ Manage crawl budget and indexation via URL parameter evaluation, pagination, duplication control, and integration with Google APIs. β€’ Collaborate with engineering, UX, and content teams to ensure SEO-friendly site architecture and technical alignment for new features. β€’ Implement performance best practices including browser caching, asset compression, CDN strategies, and rendering path optimization. β€’ Build dashboards and automate reporting in Looker or Tableau to track technical SEO health and detect anomalies. β€’ Use SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Semrush, Ahrefs, and Google Search Console to monitor and optimize visibility. β€’ Stay up to date with SEO trends and translate technical insights into actionable strategies for both technical and non-technical audiences. Qualifications β€’ Minimum 2 years of experience in technical SEO, including log analysis, crawl optimization, and coding. β€’ At least 5 years of total SEO experience with large-scale, enterprise-level eCommerce platforms (automotive experience a plus). β€’ Proficient in Python scripting, structured data implementation, and web protocols (redirects, caching, HTTP status codes). β€’ Deep understanding of page performance using Lighthouse, PageSpeed Insights, WebPageTest, and experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). β€’ Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or other CMS platforms. β€’ Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools such as Screaming Frog, Botify, DeepCrawl, Ahrefs, Similarweb, GSC, and Bing Webmaster Tools. β€’ Strong grasp of SQL, data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau), and reporting best practices. β€’ Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and SEO use cases for machine learning. β€’ Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to write clear, concise documentation and engineering tickets. β€’ Strong collaboration and communication skills; thrives in fast-paced, agile environments. Education Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field. Work Days Normal work days are Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturdays and Sundays may be necessary.
