Job Title: Sr.Product Owner - Retail / e-Commerce Location: 100% Remote, Hoboken, NJ Duration: 6+ Months with possible extension Exp. Level: 10+ Years Job Description We are looking for a highly experienced Product Owner to lead the development of innovative digital solutions for our e-commerce platform. This remote role is ideal for someone with a strong background in product strategy, agile delivery, and customer-centric design, particularly within the e-commerce domain. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our online shopping experience, driving growth, and enhancing customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: • Define and evolve the product roadmap for core e-commerce capabilities including search, checkout, personalization, and mobile experience. • Align product goals with business objectives and customer needs. • Champion user experience improvements across web and mobile platforms. • Collaborate with UX/UI teams to deliver intuitive and engaging shopping journeys. • Manage and prioritize the product backlog using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps. • Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams. • Lead sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives with cross-functional teams. • Work closely with marketing, merchandising, operations, and technology teams to gather requirements and align on priorities. • Communicate product vision and progress to senior leadership and stakeholders. • Use analytics and customer feedback to inform product decisions and measure success. • Continuously optimize features based on performance metrics such as conversion rate, cart abandonment, and customer retention. Qualifications: • 10+ years of experience in product ownership or product management, with at least 5 years in e-commerce. • Proven track record of delivering successful digital products in a fast-paced, agile environment. • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, customer behavior, and omnichannel retail strategies. • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, Google Analytics, and A/B testing platforms. • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field. Preferred Skills: • Experience with platforms like Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or custom-built e-commerce systems. • Familiarity with personalization engines, recommendation systems, and loyalty programs. • Certifications such as CSPO, SAFe PO/PM, or equivalent. • Experience working with remote and distributed teams.
