As Staff Product Designer & Partner, you won’t just design screens — you’ll architect systems, flows, and paradigms that define the future of shopping. You’ll operate as a peer to the founder, inventing entirely new design playbooks for the age of AI. Your Mission: Architect Zero-to-One Design for AI-Native Commerce You’ll lead design at the intersection of: • System Design — Build frameworks and primitives that scale across products and platforms. • AI Orchestration — Invent new conversational and multimodal interaction models that turn ambiguity into clarity. • Strategic Leverage — Codify design knowledge into AIOS, raising velocity and consistency across the company. How You’ll Operate & Build At Demand.io, documentation is the work. Impact scales by encoding design context into systems that humans and AI can both execute. • Architect Grounding Files: Define interaction principles, frameworks, and rubrics for AI and human designers. • Orchestrate AI Systems: Use AI to generate, refine, and validate prototypes and interaction patterns. • Codify Design Primitives: Ship reusable tokens, components, and flows that form the DNA of our design language. • Design for Trust & Transparency: Create interfaces that make provenance, privacy, and verification visible and confidence-inspiring. • Compound the OS: Ensure every design shipped strengthens AIOS, making our system smarter, faster, and more capable. Compensation & Partnership • First-Year Cash Comp: $250,000 – $375,000 • Profit-Sharing Bonus (PSB): Monthly, revenue-tied cash bonus; typically +30–100% above base.
