This position requires a presence in New York.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own subscription KPIs - acquisition, conversion, churn, and lifetime value — and report on them regularly to leadership.
• Manage and optimize the subscription and paywall experience (Piano or similar platform), ensuring a frictionless user journey.
• Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to evaluate and improve pricing, offers, messaging, and conversion flows.
• Map and continuously refine the customer journey from first visit to long-term retention.
• Analyze subscription funnel metrics and audience data to uncover trends and opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing to plan and execute targeted acquisition and retention campaigns.
• Oversee paid media strategies related to subscription growth (search, display, social), with a focus on ROI and subscriber quality.
• Partner with product, tech, and design teams to implement features and optimizations that improve subscription performance.
• Lead backlog prioritization for subscription-related initiatives.
• Provide clear reporting and insights on KPIs, experiment results, and campaign impact.
Requirements:
• 4+ years in product management, subscription services, or digital publishing, ideally with growth and retention experience.
• Hands-on experience with Piano or similar subscription/paywall platforms.
• Proven ability to design and run A/B tests and translate results into product and marketing improvements.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI tracking and data visualization.
