Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Lead for our Brand Enforcement Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in e-commerce, primarily working with brands and platforms in channel and brand management. The ideal candidate should have a strong working understanding of intellectual property rights, rules, and regulations of ecommerce platforms, including but not limited to Amazon, Walmart, and eBay, and related software and tools, such as Amazon’s Brand Registry. This role requires expertise in identifying channel disruption, supply chain leaks, and intellectual property violations, as well as knowledge of related solutions to address the foregoing. The Brand Enforcement Team Lead will work closely with the Firm’s existing team to identify potential clients, create a pipeline of leads, and drive overall growth and profitability. The position will play a key role in the acquisition of new brand protection clients. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES β€’ Execute a strategy for identifying, acquiring, and maintaining brand protection clients, to grow the overall group and increase profitability. β€’ Establish a process to actively review ecommerce marketplaces, with an eye toward identifying brands suffering from channel conflict, unauthorized resellers, counterfeit sellers, duplicative listings, and other intellectual property violation, and prepare reports and analysis outlining such results. β€’ Conduct outreach to potential targets and prepare pitch materials. β€’ Collaborate with the Firm’s existing teams to develop and implement marketing strategies. β€’ Attend and participate in pitches, conferences, and other business development activities, as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: β€’ 5+ years of experience in brand management or protection, with a strong understanding of IP rules and enforcement, including the First Sale Doctrine. Law degree preferred but not required. β€’ Communication Skills: Clear and concise communication to effectively convey brand guidelines and feedback to various stakeholders. β€’ Analytical Skills: Capability to analyze data and trends to identify areas where brand consistency may be compromised. β€’ Project Management: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple branding projects simultaneously. β€’ Proven Track Record: Demonstrated growth working with previous teams to identify new clients and win business.
