Role Description We’re seeking a mission-driven Technical Co-Founder to lead engineering at Miirr.ai. This is a full-time, on-site role in Seattle, WA, where you’ll be responsible for building our platform from the ground up, owning key architectural decisions, and scaling our technology as we grow. You’ll work side by side with the founding team to define product strategy, manage technical execution, and ensure system performance, scalability, and security. This role goes beyond writing code, you’ll help shape company culture, collaborate with industry stakeholders, and guide Miirr’s evolution from MVP to market leader. Responsibilities • Build and scale the Miirr.ai MVP and beyond (0 → 1 and 1 → 100) • Lead technical decision-making, architecture, and product development • Manage software updates, system audits, and ensure data security/integrity • Collaborate with non-technical founders, early customers, and stakeholders to align product with market needs • Oversee system performance, infrastructure, and scalability as we grow • Build and eventually lead a high-performing engineering team Qualifications You might be a fit if you: • Are a full-stack engineer with experience building and shipping products end-to-end • Have AI/ML experience, particularly in computer vision, NLP, or recommendation systems • Have worked on Shopify apps or SaaS tools for e-commerce • Understand web development fundamentals, databases, and backend architecture • Have a track record leading technical projects and/or teams • Bring strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills • Are comfortable working closely with a non-technical founder • Value security best practices when handling sensitive data and infrastructure • Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Bonus if you have: • Experience at an early-stage startup or shipping scrappy MVPs • Background in product ingestion, image tagging, or social media content tools • An interest in fashion, retail, or e-commerce industry trends • Experience in sales/marketing to complement technical leadership What’s in it for you? • Shape the next generation of e-commerce • Work alongside founders and leadership to influence product strategy and company direction • Competitive salary, meaningful equity, comprehensive benefits, and flexible time off • Base Salary: $100K-$200K, depending on experience • Equity: Meaningful equity reflective of early team impact • In-person culture at AI House in Seattle, daily lunches, coaching, and more
