This role combines people leadership, technical oversight, and strategic input. You’ll collaborate across functions to ensure technical delivery aligns with business goals, and champion engineering best practices that enable high performance and scalability. Ideal candidates bring hands-on development experience, a passion for team mentorship, and a track record of shipping successful digital solutions in an agency, SaaS, or platform environment. TOP SKILLS: • Experience in building, architecting and using headless CMS, integrating commerce engines into a headless environment. • In-depth knowledge of APIS (REST & GraphQL) • Excellent knowledge of Next.js+React--Hands-on ability • CI/CD experience automating processes and QA knowledge • Experience and desire to be a client-facing resource as well as team collaborator. • Previous experience in an agency setting. Requirements • 7+ years of experience in hands-on software engineering, including 2+ years in a management or team lead role. • Proficiency with modern web technologies, especially Next.js (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, APIs, headless CMS platforms). • Experience delivering scalable digital solutions using CMS/eCommerce platforms (e.g., AEM, Shopify, Magento). • Strong understanding of CI/CD, testing frameworks, and Git-based workflows. • Proven ability to grow and support high-performing, distributed engineering teams. • Comfortable working in Agile environments and using tools like Jira, Confluence, GitHub/GitLab. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
