We're looking for a Technical Lead to drive innovation in how we manage, monetize, and deliver software licenses and entitled content through our eCommerce platforms. This is a hybrid role: 2 remote days 3 onsite Key Responsibilities • Lead the design and implementation of scalable software licensing and entitlement solutions for SaaS, subscription, and on-premise products. • Act as the technical authority for license monetization systems, ensuring compliance with enterprise architecture, security, and integration standards. • Collaborate with software product teams, enterprise architects, and IT partners to align licensing strategies with business goals. • Drive end-to-end integration with ERP systems and customer-facing eCommerce portals. • Translate business requirements into technical architecture and solution designs. • Mentor technical teams and contribute to development best practices across the organization. • Present technical concepts and solution strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field. • 8+ years of Solid foundation in computer science principles, data structures, and algorithms. • 3+ years of backend development experience using JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js); Angular experience is a plus. • 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services (API Gateway, IAM, S3, caching). • 2+ years in a technical lead role overseeing medium to large development teams. • Demonstrated expertise in software licensing models, entitlement systems, and eCommerce integrations. • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools. • Ability to translate complex business needs into detailed design and implementation plans. • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills. • Self-starter with a passion for optimization, scalability, and user-centric solutions. The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $121,600.00 - $190,000.00/yr USD in the US, or $114,240.00 - $178,500.00/yr CAD in Canada, plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
