Role description
Company: Electricsolenoidvalves.com
Base Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 (depending on technical depth & sourcing experience).
About Us
Electricsolenoidvalves.com is a fast-growing eCommerce company that supplies industrial flow control products — solenoid valves, motorized ball valves, pneumatic components, and more — to customers across North America and internationally.
Our customers count on us for fast shipping, sharp product knowledge, and reliable equipment. We’re expanding our catalog steadily and intentionally — adding new products that make sense for the markets we serve.
The Role: Technical Product & Catalog Manager
We’re looking for a hands-on technical product leader to own our catalog from end to end — including product strategy, supplier management, technical support, and purchasing.
You’ll be the go-to expert on what we sell, why it matters, and how to keep it in stock. That means collaborating across teams, working with manufacturers, launching new products, and ensuring we’re always prepared to meet customer demand.
This isn’t just a product support role or a pure purchasing job. It’s about owning the full lifecycle — from sourcing and technical setup through launch, documentation, inventory forecasting, and restocking. You’ll help shape how we grow while keeping our core products running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
Be the Product Expert
• Act as the internal go-to for all product-related questions
• Support technical scoping and assist on large or complex RFQs
• Train internal teams and provide tools that make it easier to sell and support what we offer
• Build and maintain spec sheets, documentation, and internal product resources
Manage and Grow the Catalog
• Own accuracy and documentation across our product listings
• Monitor performance, returns, and customer feedback
• Identify gaps and lead the addition of new products — working directly with suppliers to source OEM or private label items, and collaborating with the team to market and launch them
Purchasing & Supplier Management
• Forecast demand and ensure inventory levels meet business needs
• Place purchase orders, follow up with suppliers, and manage delivery timelines
• Track supplier performance, including costs, responsiveness, and quality
• Support inventory planning and purchasing adjustments with the operations team
Maintain Documentation & Compliance
• Review and manage CAD files, certifications, and compliance documentation
• Ensure product specs, listings, and supporting documents are always up to date and easy to understand
You Might Be a Fit If You...
• Have 2–5 years of experience in product management, technical sales, engineering, or catalog operations
• Are familiar with flow control, automation, or mechanical components
• Can read and interpret technical drawings, BOMs, and spec sheets
• Are comfortable speaking with manufacturers, suppliers, and customers
• Are detail-oriented, organized, and like owning your outcomes
• Want to be deeply involved in what gets sold and how it's supported
Why This Role Matters
This role sits at the core of how we grow and operate. You’ll help shape what we carry, how we launch it, and how we support it. You’ll work directly with leadership and collaborate across teams to keep the business running smoothly and moving forward.
Our Core Values
• We Are a Team – We collaborate and treat our customers like teammates
• We Are Curious – We ask why, solve problems, and always look to improve
• We Have a Can-Do Attitude – We figure it out and follow through
• We Take Ownership – We do what we say and take responsibility
• We Are Reliable – You can count on us—every time
Benefits
• Competitive salary + performance-based bonus
• Health, dental, and vision insurance
• 401(k) with company match
• PTO and paid holidays
• Career growth in a fast-scaling company
Equal Employment Opportunity
