Technical Project Manager
Full-Time / Remote (Based in the U.S.)
We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our client’s team. They are dedicated to designing and building custom websites and ecommerce solutions. With technical expertise and high standards of integrity guiding us, they deliver high-quality results that exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities
The type of work depends on the client, but often includes:
• Ensure high client satisfaction and maintain profitability by running efficient, on-schedule projects.
• Direct communication and documentation with clients and developers on technical matters, task handoff, scheduling, and budget management.
• Maintain and extend healthy client relationships using solid account management practices.
• Lead Agile sprint planning and general project management, including Jira task management and scheduling.
• Provide standard project documentation, such as agendas, milestone plans, release plans, and weekly status reports.
• Organize and lead client, design, and internal development meetings.
• Ensure quality control across all projects, including documentation, task management, communication, client relationships, and team dynamics.
• Triage and schedule support requests from existing clients.
• Assist with quality assurance and testing prior to client UAT.
• Report directly to the Associate Director of Project Management and contribute to internal process documentation and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience as a project manager at a Shopify agency.
• Strong experience in web development methodologies.
• Experience with Shopify; Magento experience is a plus.
• Excitement to learn, grow, and adapt to new technologies.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence for managing development tasks, project roadmaps, and resources.
• Experience in team resourcing and budget management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for a remote work environment.
• Confidence, enthusiasm, and leadership abilities to serve as the primary point of contact for clients—bringing a professional, positive, and proactive approach to meeting client expectations.
• Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects, communicate clearly, and prioritize tasks.
• Background in client-service environments—web development firms, interactive agencies, graphic design firms.
• Strong ability to set realistic deadlines, forecast risk, coordinate internal and external resources, and accurately estimate resource requirements.
• Proficiency in Smartsheet for Project Planning.
• Proficiency in Parallax for resourcing.
