Role description
About Us
Hoodsly.com is a fast-growing eCommerce manufacturer specializing in custom wood range hoods. In just a few short years, we’ve scaled from a three-person founding team to over 30 employees over the last few years. We design, build, and deliver handcrafted products nationwide, supported by strong B2B partnerships, advanced logistics, and custom-built technology solutions.
As we continue to grow, we’re seeking an Operations & Technology Manager who can step into a leadership role that blends operations management, logistics oversight, and technology-driven process improvement. This role is ideal for a self-motivated builder who thrives on solving complex problems, leading cross-functional teams, and scaling organizations.
Key Responsibilities
• Operations Leadership
• Oversee day-to-day operations across marketing, sales, customer service, and manufacturing logistics.
• Build and document processes that ensure scalability, efficiency, and high-quality customer experiences.
• Partner with leadership to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions for sustainable growth.
• Technology & Development
• Work closely with our software development team to manage API integrations, custom software, and CRM systems.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and ensure timely, effective project execution.
• Identify and deploy tools that improve efficiency across logistics, order management, and communication.
• Team Building & Management
• Hire, train, and lead team members across multiple departments, creating accountability and clear growth paths.
• Foster collaboration between technical and non-technical teams.
• Own cross-functional projects from concept to completion.
• Logistics & Supply Chain
• Manage relationships with manufacturing partners and vendors.
• Optimize supply chain processes to reduce costs and improve lead times.
• Coordinate with fulfillment and delivery teams to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in operations management with exposure to technology-driven businesses.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and lead through influence.
• Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred), API integrations, custom built software, and working alongside development teams.
• Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain, and eCommerce operations.
• Highly organized, analytical thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
What We’re Looking For
This is not a narrow role. We’re looking for a leader who:
• Can think strategically like an executive but isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.
• Knows how to bridge the gap between business and tech.
• Thrives on structure but can handle ambiguity.
• Wants to make a measurable impact in scaling a rapidly growing company.
Benefits
• Competitive salary + performance bonus
• Health, dental, and vision insurance
• Paid time off and holidays
• Opportunity to shape the future of a high-growth company
In short: We’re looking for a builder, a problem-solver, and a leader. Someone who can help us scale beyond today and free up our leadership team to focus on the future.
Job Type: Full-time
Benefits:
• 401(k) matching
• Dental insurance
• Health insurance
• Life insurance
• Paid time off
• Professional development assistance
