Role description
Account Director (TikTok Shop) We're building the best creator marketing and TikTok Shop agency in the US. We work with top brands doing $50M+ a year looking to drive profit with creator marketing and social commerce. You'll own big accounts, lead teams, and drive real revenue growth. What You Must Deliver Revenue: Manage a maximum of 6 top DTC TikTok Shop accounts while scaling them to $1M+ each in their first year and $3M-$5M+ by year 2. Client Retention: Keep 95%+ of clients happy and renewing. Team Management: Manage 5-8 people to hit every deadline and target Growth: Turn TikTok Shop into a top 3 channel driving profit, content at scale, and a halo effect on Shopify and Amazon. What You'll Do Own Big Accounts • Launch and manage up to 6 category leading brands as their main point of contact (no startups, only top brands) • Turn their goals into clear plans with deadlines and owners • Run weekly strategy calls and monthly business reviews • Build and document new strategies that drive growth Lead Teams • Manage influencer recruiters, media buyers, creative strategists, and marketing operation specialists • Set clear standards for all work • Give fast feedback and coaching • Build processes anyone can follow Grow TikTok Shops • Managing merchandising strategy, campaigns, and promotions • Recruit 1000’s of affiliates per month • Optimize everything: product pages, reviews, videos, live streams • Leverage trends, test new ad formats, and find what drives the most sales What You Need: Must Have Experience: • 5+ years growing eCommerce for big brands through digital marketing • Agency experience as a director of account or SR. account manager managing 6+ accounts with best in class retention, task completion rate, and case study results • Led teams of 8+ people who consistently hit targets Nice to Have Experience: • Built Shopify, Amazon, or TikTok shops for brands doing $10M+ per year • Managed $25M+ in annual online sales or managed $25M+ in total Meta ad spend with documented KPIs (ROAS, CAC, MER) • Know how TikTok Shop works: policies, shipping, promotions, live selling • Run creator and affiliate programs that drive real results • Understand what content goes viral and drives sales • Know how to use TikTok ads and creator partnerships Must Be Committed to: • Turn data into winning strategies • Learning and constant improvement • Timely and proactive communication • Break big goals into clear, actionable steps • Share agendas with clients 24 hours in advance • Coach people to get better results Your First 90 Days Month 1: Learn the fundamentals of our TikTok Shop playbook (The Zeroto1 way) • Every process has clear checklists and success metrics • Audit all accounts and find growth opportunities • Shadow top Account Manager Month 2: Build the foundation • Learn active management by doing!
