About The Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Digital Experience Designer to join our team at Komatsu. This role is pivotal in transforming our digital presence by redesigning the global websites and enhancing the online customer experience. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with product owners, web developers, product managers, and IT teams to develop innovative design solutions that address customer needs and improve usability. A key focus will be establishing cohesive branding and design consistency across platforms, while maintaining and evolving our design system in Figma. Additionally, this role involves supporting eCommerce expansion, technology subscriptions, and online training initiatives. Understanding regional business objectives will be essential to tailoring the digital experience to meet diverse customer requirements and increasing online sales. Qualifications
β’ Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, User Interface Design, or a related field
β’ Minimum of 3 years of experience designing mobile-friendly, responsive B2B and B2C eCommerce websites
β’ Experience working within Agile methodologies and ceremonies
β’ Proficiency in modern web development practices, including UX best practices, responsive design, and mobile-first layouts
β’ Strong graphic design skills with the ability to translate wireframes into high-fidelity visual designs
β’ Experience conducting usability testing and applying methodologies to improve user experience
β’ Knowledge of web front-end development, including HTML and CSS (desired)
β’ Experience implementing on-site personalization based on user profiles (desired)
β’ Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Miro, and Adobe Creative Cloud
Responsibilities
β’ Partner with product owners, marketing, and IT teams to develop and execute the organizationβs digital strategy and roadmap
β’ Support the implementation of omni-channel marketing campaigns through email design and other digital assets
β’ Conduct internal and external interviews to identify and validate functionality enhancements
β’ Identify opportunities to streamline processes and digital products by promoting UX standards and best practices
β’ Analyze user needs and develop UI designs that align with product requirements and technical feasibility
β’ Create wireframes, UI mockups, user flows, and prototypes to translate customer needs into engaging experiences
β’ Design graphical assets to support UI visual elements
β’ Organize and conduct usability studies to validate designs and identify areas for improvement
β’ Advocate for a superior customer experience, acting as their voice within the organization
β’ Participate in QA and user acceptance testing to ensure design quality and functionality
