JOB DESCRIPTION: We are looking for a hungry and passionate USA Sales Director who will take the lead in building and scaling Chamelo’s wholesale, retail, and distribution channels across the United States. This role will be pivotal in driving our U.S. growth during this hyper-growth phase and ensuring Chamelo becomes a household name in the American market. There is significant commission and equity upside for a hungry, results-driven sales leader. You will be responsible for developing and executing Chamelo’s U.S. sales strategy: pitching our innovative product lines to top retailers, distributors, and eCommerce marketplaces; managing key accounts; and building long-term relationships that drive repeat business. While aggressively pursuing outbound opportunities, you will also manage inbound interest, close deals, and establish Chamelo as a market leader in smart eyewear. The applicant must be up for a challenging, but rewarding experience finding the best portfolio of U.S. clients—including some of the country’s largest retailers, distributors, and online marketplaces. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WILL INVOLVE: • Develop and execute a scalable outreach system to drive new business opportunities with major U.S. retailers, distributors, and online marketplaces. • Build prospect lists, identify decision makers, gain access to them, and close deals. • Leverage commercial sense to negotiate contracts and purchase orders. • Manage and chase outstanding wholesale accounts receivable. • Update and manage all sales activities, opportunities, and account information in CRM. • Develop existing wholesale accounts into long-term partnerships, driving repeat orders. • Represent Chamelo at U.S. industry events, trade shows, webinars, and in-store demos. • Collaborate with the creative team to create engaging point-of-sale merchandising. • Exceed monthly/quarterly/annual U.S. sales quotas. • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and leadership teams to optimize U.S. sales strategy. • Identify, target, pitch, and develop brand partnerships and co-branded collaborations specific to the U.S. market. • Partner with celebrity and influencer accounts to generate awareness and demand in the U.S. market. MUST-HAVES: • 5+ years of U.S. sales experience (consumer products required; consumer electronics preferred). • Experience selling into U.S. retailers, distributors, or eCommerce marketplaces. • Strong network within U.S. retail and distribution channels. • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail. • Comfortable with travel to U.S. industry events, conferences, and trade shows. • Strong multi-tasking and project management skills. • Familiarity with Shopify and Amazon a plus. • Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot/Salesforce), Asana, Slack, etc. • Startup experience advantageous. • Fluent in English.
