Role description
This User Experience Designer will work closely with other designers, stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to plan, design and build digital products within the large-scale consumer products space. The UX Designer should have empathy for our users, be a creative problem solver, and be able to articulate the reasons behind a design. The ideal candidate has experience across many design disciplines and is highly knowledgeable about the latest interaction and design standards. Key Responsibilities and Duties β€’ Responsible for learning the core practice of UX design β€’ Wireframing and Prototyping β€’ Basic understanding of information architecture, navigation, and user flows β€’ Basic level understanding of product and scrum development process β€’ Contributes to delivery of detailed designs and assets β€’ Follows standard UX process and adopts design system components into the designs β€’ Contributes to coherent visual and interaction designs across flows and channels β€’ Participate in and/or organize design workshops (in-person and remote) to drive discovery and better understand the user’s needs Qualifications β€’ 1 to 3 years of UX/UI design experience, preferably in Business to Consumer space β€’ Online portfolio demonstrating your recent work experience with case studies illustrating the entire user centered design process β€’ Good proficiency of design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Adobe suite β€’ Previous experience working on ecommerce mobile apps and websites β€’ Working knowledge of responsive design and familiarity with related development techniques β€’ Basic level understanding of agile methodologies and how UX integrates into the agile /scrum process β€’ Experience organizing or participating in design workshops β€’ Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation β€’ Relentless curiosity about people, technology, design, and life If an hourly or salary range is included in this ad it represents the range 7-Eleven in good faith believes is the range of compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
