Role description
Job Description Interview process: 2-3 interview rounds Contract length: 6 months. High likelihood to extend for up to 18months. Eligibility: Candidates must be based in the U.S. and fully authorized to work without the need for visa sponsorship or transfer. Responsibilities As a Content Strategist, you’ll be responsible for crafting all and any text that customers encounter. You’ll work across all aspects of the product cycle, including user research, collaborative ideation, content strategy, content mapping, prototyping, and testing. • Work with product designers to inform site mapping and content hierarchy in wireframes and prototyping for apps, websites, landing pages, and more • Conduct qualitative and quantitative content audits and competitive assessments • Design information architecture, navigation, user flows, and content matrix recommendations • Devise and implement a UX content strategy that considers both macro and micro content needs across the digital experience • Recommend platforms and tools that allow for automated content creation to enable copy efficiencies and standardization • Partner with other writers to produce engaging, conversational copy that adheres to brand and copy guidelines • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams—product designers, engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders—to deliver value to users • Independently manage deadlines across multiple simultaneous projects • Always keep the end user in mind at every stage of the process Requirements • 4+ years of experience working as a Content Strategist and/or Information Architect • Strong understanding of user experience principles and customer needs such as motivations and behaviors, with the ability to translate them into engaging, actionable deliverables • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adaptable for both technical and non-technical audiences • Proven ability to manage and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously • Experience creating content strategies across platforms and devices (mobile, tablet, desktop) • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision • Experience presenting to and collaborating with cross-functional teams • Familiarity with agile and/or lean working environments • Comfortable working in ambiguity and fast-paced settings; startup mentality a plus • US-based candidates only; must be able to work within Pacific Time Zone requirements to support team and business needs What You’ll Be Working On You’ll help shape the digital content experience for millions of users across Albertsons Companies' digital platforms.
