Position Summary
The HealthTrust Product Team is divided into a Customer Solutions, Data Solutions, and Sourcing Solutions space. We pride ourselves on putting our members voice first so we can focus on driving solutions and savings where it matters most for our hospital systems.
Responsibilities
• The User Experience Designer IV will be responsible for creating the experience for our internal and member facing products at HealthTrust. This includes, but is not limited to our member experience, e-commerce experience, supplier portal, and analytics platforms.
• As a qualified candidate you look at design from a user-first perspective and understand great product design is about more than just the UI. You will be expected to define, design, and measure the success of your products, and bring a research first mindset to understand who our members & suppliers are. You will engage directly with Product Managers, Product Owners, and Developers to bring products to life, so cross-functional collaboration is a must.
Requirements
• 10+ years working as a Product or UX Designer in B2B and B2C spaces
• A deep understanding of the end-to-end product design process, including how to develop and use information architecture, journey mapping, prototyping, user stories, user testing, visual design and wireframing
• Ability to manage your time and deadlines, as well as being comfortable designing in an iterative way to learn and adapt.
• Experience in or willingness to learn tools such as: Figma, FigJam, Notion, Usertesting(dot)com, and the Adobe Creative Suite
• Bonus: Previous experience in Healthcare, Analytics or E-commerce
• Problem solving and user first mentality
• Strong facilitation and rapport-building skills
• An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating relevant experience
• Influence the shape of the product with research and data while executing design work with wireframes, mockups, user journeys, and interactive prototypes
• Drive cross-functional team towards clarity around potential solutions, trade-offs, and priorities
• Problem solve and explore different concepts/ideas while understanding how to converge and build iteratively towards your vision
• Act as a partner with product and engineering to bring products to life
• Create research plans and leverage activities such as workshops, interviews, and testing to support your decisions
• Contribute to building out user personas and research library with research synthesis.
• Inspire the entire team and stakeholders by being able to story tell and bring new ideas to the table
