Title; UX Designer Woodbridge, NJ onsite 4 days/week F2F interview is required UX Designer / Sr. UX Designer (Contract Woodbridge, NJ) Role Overview We re seeking an experienced UX Designer (or Sr. UX Designer) for a contract role based in Woodbridge, NJ. This position offers the opportunity to shape human-centered design across a range of digital products and services, with a focus on eCommerce, online servicing workflows, and mobile app experiences. The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of UX design experience, strong expertise in prototyping and design systems, and the ability to rapidly translate complex problems into elegant, intuitive solutions. You ll collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders to craft accessible and engaging user experiences. Essential Responsibilities Design Development • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that address complex workflows in eCommerce and online servicing environments. • Rapidly iterate on design solutions using Figma, leveraging design systems to ensure consistency and scalability. • Create visual assets and UI components that align with brand standards and accessibility best practices. User Research and Analysis • Conduct and synthesize user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to uncover user needs and pain points. • Translate research insights into actionable design decisions that improve workflows and mobile experiences, including React Native app design. Collaboration and Communication • Partner with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with project goals. • Present and defend design concepts, iterating based on feedback from peers and business stakeholders. • Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions to generate ideas and foster alignment. Design Documentation and QA • Build and maintain design documentation, including style guides and component libraries. • Ensure design intent is carried through development by reviewing builds and participating in QA. Continuous Learning and Improvement • Stay current with evolving design tools, UX trends, and best practices. • Seek and provide feedback to elevate the quality and impact of design work. Qualifications And Experience • Minimum of 5 years of UX design experience, with a focus on eCommerce or online servicing workflows. • Experience designing for mobile applications, preferably using React Native. • Proficiency in Figma for prototyping and design system application. • Strong communication skills and ability to present ideas clearly to diverse audiences. • Proven ability to solve complex design challenges and deliver user-centered solutions. • Knowledge of accessibility best practices.
