Overview
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Growth: Partnering with DSG Directors and across eCommerce, Category Merchandising, Buyers, and Planners to expand and qualify vendors and assortments by forecasting sales opportunities. Negotiating with vendors to implement VDC contracts and system integration. Prioritizing vendor enablementβs and assortment expansions. Analyzing inventory requirements and securing forecasted units. Assessing current business trends to react to over or under performing categories & vendors. Qualification and onboarding of new vendors will be a responsibility of the Analyst role.
Communication: Establishing strong working relationships with key leadership members, Vendors, Merchants, and Operations. Developing on-going training to improve knowledge of processes and goals. Delivering results focused and actionable business summaries to DMMs, eCommerce Site Merchandising and Content Teams, and other key business partners.
Operations/Customer Experience: Partnering, as needed to build comprehensive scoring and feedback on vendor performance. Partnering with vendor direct operations to determine aspects of the relationship that are performing well or underperforming
Projects and Planning: Evaluating and implementing strategic business opportunities including: web store enhancements, custom and personalized products, and channel optimization. Influencing key stakeholders to accomplish expectations and meet timelines. Completing ad-hoc analysis and special projects as needed.
Qualifications

β’ 5-7 years experience
β’ Retail, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Distribution experience (preferred)
β’ EDI Knowledge (preferred)
