Job Description The Opportunity: Lead Our Distribution Network’s Future We’re seeking a transformative and results-oriented leader to serve as our new Vice President of Distribution. This is a unique opportunity for a strategic operator to lead a brand-new greenfield distribution center in Garland, Utah. At over 1.2 million square feet, this facility is a significant asset to our network. You’ll be the key driver in optimizing our labor force to improve efficiency, reduce operational costs and ultimately enhance our bottom line. We need a hands-on executive who can inspire and develop a high-performing team while directly impacting the company’s financial success through savvy P&L management. A day in the office looks like this: • P&L Management & Labor Optimization: Directly manage the distribution center’s budget and KPIs, with a sharp focus on improving profitability through strategic labor optimization. You’ll identify and implement new processes to increase productivity and reduce costs, ensuring a positive return on investment. • Visionary Leadership & High Energy: Lead and mentor a team of exempt-level managers, supervisors and over 300+ non-exempt employees. Your primary goal will be to foster an environment of continuous improvement and high morale. We’re looking for a leader with high energy and a dynamic presence who can inspire a team and maintain a positive, fast-paced work environment. You’ll coach and develop your direct reports, building strong communication channels and a culture of ownership. • Operational Excellence & Volume Forecasting: Oversee all daily activities, including receiving, storage and fulfillment. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations across all departments and maintaining compliance with all safety and environmental regulations (OSHA, DOT, etc.). A critical component of this role is your ability to accurately forecast and manage operational volume. You’ll use historical data and market trends to predict inbound and outbound freight volumes, which will directly inform staffing levels, resource allocation and budget planning. • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate closely with the executive team to establish and execute ambitious yet achievable goals. Your insights and data-driven approach will be critical in shaping our long-term supply chain strategy. Qualifications Leadership Acumen & Financial Savvy: • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in distribution center management within a high-volume environment, with a proven track record of P&L responsibility. • Demonstrated ability to drive financial results through labor optimization, process improvements and cost reduction strategies. • Experience in managing high-value capital investment projects, including automation, MHE and software integrations (WMS, TMS and LMS). • A talent for fostering loyalty, collaboration and communication across different departments.
