Role description

As we continue our global growth, we are seeking a strategic and experienced Vice President of Global Sales to lead and unify our domestic, international, and eCommerce sales operations. This executive role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building world-class customer partnerships, and ensuring seamless execution across global channels. The VP will oversee a team of Directors, Associate Directors, and support personnel and serve as a key member of the senior leadership team, influencing corporate strategy and growth initiatives. This is not a remote or hybrid role. Please note that the person in this role will be required to work in-office at our Fort Worth, TX (Southlake) location 5-days per week. Global Sales Leadership β€’ Develop and implement a unified global sales strategy across our primary retail marketings (mass, specialty, drug and food), eCommerce, and international markets. β€’ Set and manage aggressive revenue, margin, and market share targets for all sales channels. β€’ Lead quarterly and annual planning processes, including forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking. β€’ Represent Naterra with key global retailers and distributors; build strong executive-level relationships. β€’ Drive sales organization changes that enhance structure, tools, and team capabilities in response to evolving business needs and market dynamics. β€’ Prioritize focus and resources for growth between domestic retailers and international markets. Team Oversight & Development β€’ Directly oversee the Director of Domestic Sales in the Mass Channel, Director of Domestic Sales in the Specialty, Drug and Grocery Channels, Associate Director of International Sales, Associate Director of E-Commerce Sales, Shopper Marketer and Sales Administrator. β€’ Integrate the Consumer/Customer Service function into the Global Sales umbrella. This function is to leverage a third-party customer service platform in partnership with Naterra’s IT team. Importantly, in collaboration with Naterra’s Quality team, the function will comply with new MoCRA compliance regulations. β€’ Lead and mentor supporting roles including Sales and Customer Service Administrator, Sales Account Managers (NAMs, KAMs, CBMs), and other key sales team members- to create a high-performance culture. β€’ Establish clear goals, metrics, and development plans to strengthen sales team effectiveness and succession readiness. Customer & Account Strategy β€’ Serve as executive sponsor for top global accounts; lead high-stakes negotiations, JBPs, and strategic partnerships. β€’ Monitor customer and shopper insights to inform pricing, assortment, and promotional strategies. β€’ Ensure consistent brand messaging, contract compliance, and retailer-specific initiatives across channels. Cross-Functional Collaboration β€’ Partner with Marketing, Product Development, Operations, and Finance to ensure commercial alignment across departments. β€’ Collaborate with Supply Chain and Demand Planning to optimize inventory flow and service levels globally. β€’ Align closely with Digital and Creative teams to support eCommerce strategy and retail media performance. Operational & Analytical Excellence β€’ Oversee global sales reporting and analytics, including KPIs, promotional ROI, sales forecasting, and channel profitability. β€’ Leverage syndicated data (e.g., IRI, Nielsen, SPINS) and sales tools (e.g., Power BI, TPM) to guide decision-making. β€’ Drive continuous improvement in sales processes, CRM/ERP systems, and customer service execution. Global Expansion & Market Development β€’ Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities across emerging markets, channels, and partnerships. β€’ Guide international market entry strategies, distributor negotiations, and region-specific go-to-market plans. β€’ Lead competitive analysis and stay informed on global beauty, personal care, and retail trends.
