Role description
The Content Specialist is a creative role focused on developing video and photo content that fuels our marketing and sales efforts. From shooting pedal demos and artist interviews to creating campaign content for new product launches and seasonal promotions, this role plays a crucial part in growing brand awareness, driving online traffic, and increasing conversions across digital channels.
This person is a collaborative creator with a keen sense for storytelling and design, technical production skills, and the ability to translate the Walrus Audio voice into engaging visual content.

Core Responsibilities
β’ Content Creation: Plan, shoot, edit, and deliver high-quality video and photo assets for marketing campaigns, product launches, dealer support, email, paid social, and the Walrus Audio website.
β’ Product Demos & Tutorials: Produce walk-throughs and performance videos that clearly demonstrate the function and sound of Walrus pedals in a musician-friendly tone.
β’ Brand Campaigns: Capture content that aligns with seasonal promotions, product launches, and dealer activations to drive awareness and sales.
β’ Social Media & Culture Content: Collaborate with the Creative Director and marketing team to produce content that celebrates Walrus culture, customer stories, and artist features.
β’ Photography: Take new product and lifestyle photos to support e-commerce and advertising needs.
β’ Visual Branding: Help refine and uphold Walrus Audioβs visual style across video and photo work, maintaining consistency across platforms.
β’ Creative Support: Assist in asset creation for email marketing, paid ads, and website updates.
Key Skills & Qualifications
β’ Proficiency with camera systems, lighting setups, audio recording, and editing workflows.
β’ Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, Lightroom, Photoshop) or similar tools.
β’ Experience filming and editing video for product marketing or social media.
β’ Strong understanding of visual storytelling, composition, and brand tone.
β’ Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
β’ Collaborative team player with a "see a need, fill a need" mindset.
Bonus Skills
β’ Experience with motion graphics and animation.
β’ Copywriting or scripting skills.
β’ Familiarity with the musical instruments or audio gear industry.

β’ Increased performance on key marketing KPIs (CTR, conversions, video views, engagement).
β’ Consistent output of campaign-ready assets that directly support product and sales goals.
β’ Strong alignment with Walrus Audioβs tone and visual identity.
β’ Seamless collaboration with internal teams across marketing, sales, and creative.
Compensation
β’ Salary will be paid via check or direct deposit every 2 weeks.
