Role Overview: The Visual Merchandising Manager plays a pivotal role in bridging creative marketing and retail merchandising to deliver a unified brand experience across all consumer touchpoints. This individual will oversee the planning, development, and execution of visual merchandising initiatives that support marketing campaigns and elevate brand presence. Reporting to the Director of Creative, Marketing, and Operations, the manager will ensure visual consistency across retail and digital platforms, driving visibility and performance.
Visual Merchandising Manager Responsibilities:
• Lead development and execution of visual merchandising programs that align with marketing campaigns and broader brand strategy.
• Establish clear guidelines and workflows to enhance cross-functional collaboration between creative, sales, and retail teams.
• Align with leadership on seasonal launches, promotional themes, and overarching retail narratives.
• Analyze and disseminate retail merchandising standards and playbooks.
• Partner with retail teams to maintain consistent visual standards, tailoring displays to suit local markets and optimize impact.
• Collaborate with internal creative teams to develop engaging and disruptive visual concepts for retail environments globally.
• Oversee planning and execution of displays for launches, retail activations, and special events.
• Ensure visual storytelling is cohesive across in-store, digital, and social platforms.
• Work with retail e-commerce partners to enhance online visual merchandising strategies in sync with physical retail.
• Serve as a creative partner in developing effective messaging and display briefs that align with brand initiatives.
• Innovate new ways to present product stories through design and merchandising.
• Manage end-to-end processes for creative development and production timelines to support retail features.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
• Analyze customer behavior and retail performance data to assess merchandising effectiveness.
• Implement changes based on insights to improve product engagement and sales conversion.
• Manage relationships with vendors for sourcing branded retail materials.
• Oversee merchandising budgets to ensure quality and cost-effective production.
• Provide direction and support to retail partners to maintain brand consistency across locations.
Visual Merchandising Manager Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Design, or related field.
