Job Description
Gymreapers is seeking an experienced and strategic VP of E-Commerce to build, scale, and lead our E-Commerce operations . The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving growth by leveraging data-driven strategies, optimizing digital sales channels, and implementing innovative solutions that enhance customer acquisition, retention, and profitability. This leader will excel in scaling e-commerce operations within an omni-channel environment, managing cross-functional teams, and aligning initiatives with overarching business objectives to achieve sustainable growth. This leader will work closely with the executive team to develop and execute digital strategies that align with company vision and goals. This position is a foundational role in our organization and requires a leader who can establish and optimize processes that drive revenue and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
Full Funnel Strategy Development
β’ Develop and implement a data-driven comprehensive e-commerce sales strategy aligned with Gymreapers' growth objectives and focused on major analytics software's.
β’ Identify opportunities to increase revenue through pricing strategies, upselling, and promotional campaigns while improving cost efficiency and profitability margins.
β’ Partner with internal teams to synchronize product launches to achieve channel targets.
β’ Collaborate with the marketing team to drive traffic and customer acquisition through SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and paid advertising campaigns.
β’ Lead and develop email marketing strategy in collaboration with CEO and Creative team.
E-Commerce Team Organization Building
β’ Build, structure, and lead a high-performing e-commerce team ensuring alignment with Gymreapers' goals.
β’ Define and refine the organizational structure to support scalable growth
β’ Establish performance standards, KPIs, and metrics to drive accountability, innovation, and results across the team.
β’ Define and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for e-commerce channels, including direct-to-consumer (DTC) platforms, third-party marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Walmart), and affiliate networks.
Account Management & Growth
β’ Oversee and conduct regular business reviews with external partners to identify growth opportunities and address challenges.
β’ Leverage insights and feedback from consumers to understand how users interact with the site and lead the implementation of new features based on findings
β’ Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of e-commerce platforms, ensuring scalability and user-friendly experiences.
Product & Calendar Alignment
β’ Collaborate closely with product development and merchandising teams to align on expansions and launches.
β’ Adapt strategies in real-time based on seasonal shifts, retail trends, and competitive positioning.
Financial Management & P&L Ownership
β’ Own and manage the e-commerce sales P&L, focusing on driving profitable growth and managing expenses within budgetary guidelines.
β’ Forecast and track sales performance, preparing reports and insights to inform executive leadership on e-commerce performance while identifying areas for improved financial efficiency
Team Leadership & Development
β’ Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team by setting clear objectives, providing regular feedback, and promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.
β’ Invest in team training and development to ensure the organization stays ahead of industry trends and best practices.
β’ Foster cross-functional collaboration with marketing, operations, and customer support to ensure a seamless customer experience across all channels.
Qualifications
β’ 6-10+ years of experience in e-commerce operations, preferably within the apparel or fitness industry.
β’ 4-7+ years in a senior leadership role with a focus on building teams, scaling e-commerce operations, and owning the P&L.
β’ Proficiency with leading e-commerce platforms, digital marketing tools, and analytics platforms.
β’ Demonstrated ability to create and execute long-term e-commerce strategies that align with overall business goals and market trends.
