Are you organised, detailed, and passionate about delivering great customer service? At Charles Trent, we're looking for a proactive Warranty & Returns Administrator to join our Ecommerce team. In this crucial role, you’ll take ownership of the returns process, working closely with customers and internal teams to ensure a smooth and efficient resolution. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy problem-solving, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
This is a varied and hands-on role where you'll handle customer enquiries relating to returns via phone, email, and eBay. You’ll manage your own cases, liaise with our warehouse and technical teams, and play a key part in enhancing the customer experience by identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.What You’ll Do
• Take full ownership of product returns – logging, investigating, and resolving cases
• Manage customer relationships and ensure timely, effective communication
• Handle eBay and email-based enquiries professionally and promptly
• Work closely with the Warehouse and Technical teams to identify trends and recurring issues
• Negotiate and process refunds and source replacement parts
• Track and manage backorders, shipping issues, and other day-to-day concerns
• Maintain detailed and accurate administrative records
• Relay updates and coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
What You'll Bring
• Experience in a high-volume ecommerce returns role (essential)
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong administrative skills and a keen eye for detail
• Confident using Excel and navigating warehouse systems (preferable)
• Knowledge of eBay systems and automotive parts/mechanics (desirable)
• A calm, can-do attitude with strong listening and problem-solving abilities
• Able to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
