We are currently looking for a highly skilled and motivated Web Developer to join our team on a contract basis. Position Overview: As a Web Developer at MagniTech Marketing, you will work remotely on a per-project basis with the potential for ongoing work based on performance. You will primarily focus on WordPress development using Elementor, as well as integrating various plugins and tools to enhance website functionality. You’ll collaborate directly with me (Aliya Özyagan), the owner, and occasionally with other team members, but you will not be required to interact with clients directly. The core of this role is developing websites with custom forms that track and display personalized data on customer profiles. Key Responsibilities: • Develop websites using WordPress and Elementor, creating visually stunning and functional designs from scratch. • Create and customize forms with Formidable Forms and ensure proper functionality for displaying private results on customer dashboards. • Integrate with third-party tools and platforms, including Zapier, WooCommerce, Twilio, Printify, Shopify, and others. • Optimize website performance for speed using best practices (e.g., using Google PageSpeed Insights, WP Rocket, etc.). • Ensure on-page SEO is properly implemented for all web pages. • Work on e-commerce sites using WooCommerce and understand the essentials of dropshipping. • Create responsive websites that are mobile-friendly and optimized for SEO. • Follow project requirements and timelines, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time. • Regularly check and update your tasks in Asana (familiarity with Asana preferred). • Collaborate with me and other team members to bring ideas to life while maintaining a modern, simple, and versatile design style. • Communicate through text messaging (not WhatsApp) for task management and updates. Preferred Knowledge & Skills: • Extensive experience with WordPress and Elementor. • Proficiency in Formidable Forms and the ability to customize form views. • Familiarity with tools like Zapier, 10Web, OptinMonster, Monster Insights, and Figma. • Experience with e-commerce, WooCommerce, Shopify, Printify, and dropshipping. • Strong understanding of website speed optimization and SEO best practices. • Ability to work independently and follow instructions carefully. • Creative, with the ability to design and implement custom web elements based on images or sketches. • Must be fluent in English and able to develop websites with English language support. • Excellent collaboration and communication skills. • Reliability and a strong work ethic. Additional Requirements: • Candidates must be able to meet remotely via text for project discussions. Occasional in-person meetings may be required for local candidates (within the Dallas to Sherman area). • Must be able to work well in a team and collaborate effectively. • Ability to meet deadlines: Timely delivery is critical. Early completion of tasks will be rewarded with a pre-determined bonus. • Candidates must demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to handle complex projects, including the development of private user dashboards and form-based results. • Portfolio required to showcase relevant work experience (especially with WordPress, Elementor, and form development).
