Job Summary We are seeking a Written Content Lead to join our Digital Commerce team in our office in Northwest Arkansas. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating, editing, proofreading, and copyediting content for various digital channels. You will research and validate clear and compelling content that aligns with branding and style guidelines, incorporate search engine optimization best practices, and utilize content management tools to prepare materials. Key Responsibilities • Work together with clients, cross functional team members, and the written team to understand the clients’ priorities and develop content strategies that align with curated platforms. • Assume full responsibility for managing the lifecycle of your clients (meeting preparation, communication, timeline, ad hoc requests, project status, trends, etc.) and accountable for next steps. • Collaborate cross-functionally to align Bluebird content and processes with brand and platform guidelines while maintaining frequent communication with both internal team members and external partners. • For both new and existing content: create compelling and data-driven product content (titles, descriptions, bullet points, and other relevant elements) that improves accuracy, clarity, and overall quality. • Understand and incorporate brand voice guidelines to ensure consistent brand messaging across all copywriting efforts. • Responsible for alignment, process, efficiency, and replication of keyword strategy and execution, identifying and optimizing for data supported opportunities in content. • Enhance operational efficiency within your work, pillar, and peer group utilizing current SEO and AI technology with excellence while identifying future areas of opportunity. • Effectively manage communications, present data, and recommendations in a manner that influences the company's standing, relationships, operations, and outcomes. • Research and recommend industry learnings, technology, trends, and new best practices to the broader content team. • May supervise a small group of team members, assigning and checking work, assisting, and instructing as required, and performing the same work or closely related work as those supervised, a portion of the time. Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree (or experience equivalent to four years of college) in a related field • 2 years of related work experience • Entrepreneurial Spirit – ability to pivot quickly, a curiosity to learn, and a sense of ownership and confidence in leading clients and cross-functional partners. • Excellent in Microsoft Office Suite • Experience in producing and editing compelling and persuasive product copywriting. • Beginning knowledge of digital marketing principles and tactics within retail • Experience in SEO and keyword research • Skilled at managing project timelines to ensure timely completion of deliverables. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Able to take constructive feedback as a tool for professional growth. • Able to digest, analyze, and visualize large sets of data to tell meaningful stories. • Strong and tactful communication skills (written and verbal) to build relationships with internal and external contacts, discuss problems, present data, and give recommendations. • Exudes the character traits: hungry, humble, EQ, excellence, transparency, relationship, ownership & teamwork.
