Role description
Job Summary This individual will be responsible for developing brand strategies, marketing plans, and product innovations to drive growth. They should feel comfortable working cross-functionally to execute these strategies and ensure brand consistency. The Brand Manager will play an ownership role in strategic planning and execution of the go-to market strategy for several of Commerce Canalโ€™s owned, licensed or managed brands. Primary responsibilities include developing strategy and running daily operations for an assigned set of clients: (edited) Responsibilities โ€ข Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure consistency in brand-related decisions โ€ข Propose, develop and execute brand strategy including channel selection, product strategy, pricing strategy and go-to market approach โ€ข Maintain quality control of the catalog, ensuring all information is accurate and that product and pricing updates are consistent with our website; โ€ข Measure and report on category/item performance as well as provide suggestions on continuous improvement strategies to improve catalog performance; โ€ข Oversee marketplace management, digital marketing operations and digital platform operations; โ€ข Maintain accurate catalog of various client products through product catalog uploading via vendor portals; โ€ข Identify and report opportunities for product sales conversion using merchandising, enhanced content and A/B testing; โ€ข Forecasting of annual sales and management of inventory planning & replenishment; โ€ข Performing market research; Monitor trends and keep a close eye on competitive products in the marketplace; Analyze brand positioning, consumer insights and other various data including, but not limited to sales trend, conversion rates and return trends. Qualifications โ€ข 0-3 years of experience in a account/brand management role within retail; E-Commerce experience highly preferred; Amazon Seller Central/Vendor Central Experience is ideal! โ€ข Experience launching online products; โ€ข Experience-driving operations in a retail and eCommerce business with emphasis on metrics.
