Role description
Job Summary
This individual will be responsible for developing brand strategies, marketing plans, and product innovations to drive growth. They should feel comfortable working cross-functionally to execute these strategies and ensure brand consistency. The Brand Manager will play an ownership role in strategic planning and execution of the go-to market strategy for several of Commerce Canalโs owned, licensed or managed brands. Primary responsibilities include developing strategy and running daily operations for an assigned set of clients: (edited)
Responsibilities
โข Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure consistency in brand-related decisions
โข Propose, develop and execute brand strategy including channel selection, product strategy, pricing strategy and go-to market approach
โข Maintain quality control of the catalog, ensuring all information is accurate and that product and pricing updates are consistent with our website;
โข Measure and report on category/item performance as well as provide suggestions on continuous improvement strategies to improve catalog performance;
โข Oversee marketplace management, digital marketing operations and digital platform operations;
โข Maintain accurate catalog of various client products through product catalog uploading via vendor portals;
โข Identify and report opportunities for product sales conversion using merchandising, enhanced content and A/B testing;
โข Forecasting of annual sales and management of inventory planning & replenishment;
โข Performing market research; Monitor trends and keep a close eye on competitive products in the marketplace; Analyze brand positioning, consumer insights and other various data including, but not limited to sales trend, conversion rates and return trends.
Qualifications
โข 0-3 years of experience in a account/brand management role within retail; E-Commerce experience highly preferred; Amazon Seller Central/Vendor Central Experience is ideal!
โข Experience launching online products;
โข Experience-driving operations in a retail and eCommerce business with emphasis on metrics.
