Role description
We are recruiting for an incredible, paid digital advertising & marketing agency in San Diego that focuses on providing Amazon ad strategies for brands selling on the Amazon marketplace as they are hiring for a Principal Brand Manager. This is a five day/week in office opportunity.
Responsibilities
Through the use of company and department practices and procedures manages projects throughout the digital lifecycle, including selection/assignment of resources, monitoring of project progress, and ensuring all deadlines and deliverables are met. Strategizes and determines a course of action, assesses and resolves a wide range of issues, and provides counsel and advice as required.
โ Partners with enterprise clients and manages escalations by conducting comprehensive, cross-functional analysis.
โ Conducts comprehensive audits involving complex data to identify and capitalize on client growth opportunities. Discusses anomalies, possible causes, and solutions with the team to ensure alignment with client and company requirements.
โ Identifies and resolves complex issues and mitigates risks using the companyโs full suite of company tools.
โ Leads high-importance enterprise client meetings by delivering comprehensive, stakeholder-tailored presentations that drive impact, while effectively preparing internal teams for success.
โ Establishes and maintains strong relationships with assigned clients, manages brand categories, defines KPIs of success and proactively communicates solution-based challenges.
โ Develops and implements detailed annual sales forecasts and PPC strategy for assigned clients.
โ Follows company and industry standards to create and present tailored results to assigned clients, monthly and/or quarterly, via Google Slides presentation.
โ Contributes to all levels of business operations, from strategic planning to hands-on daily operations for multiple clients.
โ Designs new toolsets and templates to empower teams across the organization.
โ Serves as an SME for up to three department-specialized functions, providing guidance and training to team members.
โ Mentors and guides Brand Managers, sharing expertise in developing and executing effective growth strategies. Fosters their development and ensures alignment with team objectives.
โ Oversee the execution of brand strategies, ensuring timely delivery of projects and offering strategic guidance to the dedicated Brand Manager.
โ Maintains or exceeds department-established performance standards.
โ Other duties as assigned.
โ Bachelorโs degree in marketing, business, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
โ Eight or more (8+) years of related experience in brand management with specific expertise in Amazon account management (agency experience preferred) or related roles, 4+ years of which include Amazon e-commerce preferably familiarity with both seller central and vendor central platforms.
โ Demonstrates excellent understanding of department practices, procedures, and specialized functions. Applies
independent judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions to assigned clients and projects.
โ Expert knowledge of analyzing complex data and metrics, with keen attention to detail, and the capacity to craft compelling narratives and strategies based on data insights.
โ Advanced skills utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Sheets, deck building using Powerpoint & Slides, Asana, Helium 10 , or similar software.
โ Advanced proficiency in crafting comprehensive strategies by leveraging Amazon data analytics via Google Sheets and other industry software tools.
โ Ability to manage higher-risk decisions involving significant capital.
โ Proven track record of successfully managing client relationships, understanding client needs, and delivering exceptional service and results.
โ Advanced abstract problem-solving skills, a strong entrepreneurial mindset, and a positive attitude to tackle challenges with creativity and enthusiasm.
