Acquisition Marketing Manager for Roda (Roda.com)
As Roda’s Acquisition Marketing Manager, you’ll be redefining what it means to care for cars in a big way 🚙 💪 . With over 1,000 5-star customer reviews on Google (and counting!) and thousands of other happy customers, we have only just begun the journey - you can help us get to our next stop.

In this role, you'll report directly to the CMO and have a clear impact on the growth of Roda’s customer base through advertising, site optimizations, testing, and creative community-building tactics that introduce Roda to new markets as we expand. You will be disciplined in designing and executing experiments to improve performance in our acquisition funnel, you’ll keep a laser focus on data as your core decision-driver, and you’ll identify new channel opportunities to try both small and scalable.
You are a combination of self-motivated strategist and doer who values speed over perfection. You’re willing to try lots of things to find what works - and no task is too small if it generates results. You’re technical, creative, and resourceful, and are able to analyze creative assets for performance while always imagining the next best way to win.
This is a hybrid or remote opportunity (with occasional travel) with headquarters in Rockville, MD.
Your KPIs will include:
• Growing our new customer base for multiple Roda locations
• Decreasing our cost to acquire a customer through performance and acquisition channels
• Increasing our email and SMS leads
• Increasing site traffic through performance channels
• Improving conversion rates in advertising and on-site
Your accountabilities will include:
• Working with the CMO to manage Roda’s advertising agency day-to-day, paid media, and all creative ideation and optimization
• Daily monitoring of performance across acquisition channels and regular reporting including monthly reports, testing reports, etc.
• Ideation and briefing of new advertising creative for various ad channels like Meta, Reddit, Direct Mail, and Youtube
• Building our affiliate program with local organizations, PTAs, creators, and the like
• Posting on Reddit, Facebook Groups, Nextdoor, and Listserv forums to generate leads and bookings within the local community
• New audience opportunity identification and testing
• SEO management
• Supporting Sales Manager in converting consumers in B2B partnerships
You bring the below to the table:
• A strong point of view but not an ego - Roda is a collaborative and supportive environment where we are always learning from each other
• Experience at a fast-paced, start-up environment or agency - you are accustomed to owning workstreams from start to finish and moving quickly
• A history working with paid media directly - must bring a strong proficiency in advertising data and creative analysis
• A deep understanding of how messaging and creative play a role in performance
• A results-based mentality - you’re willing to try any tactic to garner results and are always thinking of new ways to do this
Nice to haves:
• A working knowledge of the DC, Maryland, and Virginia areas to inform audience targeting and community efforts
• Creative chops - you can design and code a landing page, an email, or an ad to rival the very best
• Community management experience - from social media to IRL interactions, you love engaging with potential customers
