Role description
Hairstory is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Affiliate Marketing Manager to develop and execute an affiliate marketing program that drives our brand's growth. This person must be experienced using the Like to Know It (LTK) platforms and is an expert in TikTok Shop and its Creator Marketplace. This is a unique opportunity to shape our influencer and affiliate strategy, cultivating strong relationships with creators and optimizing performance to expand our reach and sales. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive affiliate marketing strategies specifically tailored to the nuances of LTK and TikTok Shop. You'll identify, recruit, and onboard key influencers and content creators, fostering authentic partnerships that resonate with our brand values and target audience. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the creator economy, a proven track record of managing successful affiliate programs on LTK and TikTok Shop, and a passion for the beauty and hair care industry. 📍We are based in New York near Union Square and operate on a hybrid work model (💻Tues-Thurs office; Monday and Friday remote). Our fifth floor is an operating salon, allowing you to immerse yourself in the experience while receiving endless blowouts fully. WHAT YOU’LL DO • Develop and Execute Strategy: Create and implement end-to-end affiliate marketing strategies for LTK and TikTok Shop, aligning with overall brand objectives and sales targets. • Influencer & Creator Relationship Management: Identify, recruit, onboard, and manage a diverse portfolio of LTK and TikTok Shop creators, from micro-influencers to larger-scale partners, ensuring strong relationships and consistent content creation. • Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and optimize affiliate campaigns, including product launches, promotional events, and seasonal initiatives, ensuring timely execution and maximum impact. • Performance Analysis & Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for LTK and TikTok Shop, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimization. This includes sales, commission rates, traffic, conversion rates, and creator ROI. • Budget Management: Manage the affiliate marketing budget for LTK and TikTok Shop, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment. • Content Collaboration: Work closely with creators to ensure high-quality, on-brand content that effectively showcases Hairstory products and drives engagement. Provide guidance and feedback on content best practices for each platform. • Platform Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, features, and best practices on LTK and TikTok Shop, proactively identifying new opportunities for growth. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams including marketing, e-commerce, and product development to ensure cohesive strategies and consistent brand messaging. • Negotiation: Negotiate commission structures and partnership terms with creators to ensure mutually beneficial agreements. ABOUT YOU • 3+ years of experience in affiliate marketing or influencer marketing, with a strong focus on Like to Know It (LTK) and TikTok Shop. • Proven track record of successfully managing and scaling affiliate programs on these platforms, demonstrating measurable results. • Deep understanding of the creator landscape, including identifying, vetting, and building relationships with relevant influencers. • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence others. • Highly organized with strong project management skills and attention to detail. • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • Passion for beauty and hair care is a significant plus. • Experience with affiliate tracking platforms and tools.
