Job Description The Commerce Payments organization is a motivated, forward-thinking team with a singular focus of delivering innovative payment services via the most important platforms of today and tomorrow. As an Executive Director within the Commerce Payments organization, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction, oversee the development and implementation of our agentic commerce strategy at Chase. We’re looking for someone who is customer obsessed, has a strong passion to lead “start-up” efforts in large companies, and a desire to be on the forefront of digital payments and technology. As a leader on the team, you will be responsible for the full product development lifecycle, defining and shipping a product end-to-end to 70m+ Chase consumers. Job Responsibilities • Define the vision and strategy for agentic commerce initiatives incorporating market trends from issuers, networks and merchants as well as Chase assets and insights. • Drive key partnerships working with senior internal stakeholders and external major players the AI and agentic commerce space. • Lead and develop a team of product managers; foster an environment of great team culture • Manage stakeholder relationships and regularly communicate updates on the product strategy, progress and performance to senior leaders in a matrix environment • Partner closely with Technology, Design, and Analytics teams to lead Agile product development efforts. Define features and communicate requirements to engineering in clearly written documentation • Monitor against goals, identify and scope implementation paths for needed enhancements, and create remediation plans when needed • Manage product backlog, production support, issue & defect resolution and prioritization; while Collaborating with a team of cross-functional partners to ensure a strong risk and controls environment (e.g., Fraud, Risk, Controls, Legal, Compliance) Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills • 10 + years of deep experience in financial services and digital wallets product management • 4+ years of experience in online payments and Network Tokenization capabilities from issuer, network and/or merchant perspective. • Strong strategic and commercial acumen with experience in payments, fintech, or AI-driven commerce. • High level understanding of AI architectures and payment systems to guide technical discussions. • Strong strategic thinker with ability to proactively craft product strategy and associated product roadmap while still being comfortable diving into the details required to ensure successful execution • Proven leadership track record in a product leadership role including setting up high impact teams and driving change within large, highly matrixed organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions • Passion for understanding customer needs and demonstrated ability to build digital products • Strong knowledge of APIs, engineering practices, and the product development lifecycle using Agile methodologies with demonstrated ability to launch products and capabilities working with a cross-functional team. • Bachelors in Business Management, Computer Science or comparable field of study Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills • Proven track record of managing risk and controls • Flexibility to work Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours About Us Chase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America’s households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
