Job Summary:
Triple Whale is a leader in business intelligence for e-commerce, and they are seeking an AI Marketing Analyst to help unlock the potential of their new product line. The role involves partnering with customers to shape AI agents, delivering insights, and refining outputs using SQL.
Responsibilities:
β’ Partner directly with customers (founders, operators, marketers) to understand their analytics needs and translate them into powerful, insight-generating AI agents.
β’ Design and refine prompts for our LLM-powered agents to deliver accurate, actionable business insights - no coding required.
β’ Create new agents helping merchants unlock answers like: "Who are our most profitable customer segments?", "Where are we wasting ad spend?", "What products drive the highest LTV?"
β’ Validate and fine-tune outputs using SQL and business logic to ensure high-quality reporting.
β’ Work cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering to improve agent accuracy and usability.
β’ Enable internal teams to understand and deploy AI agents effectively with technical insights and customer stores.
Qualifications:
Required:
β’ Strong understanding of ecommerce KPIs and marketing analytics (CAC, ROAS, LTV, funnel performance, retention, etc.)
β’ Comfortable writing and validating SQL queries (youβll refine AI outputs, not write from scratch)
β’ A natural communicator who thrives in customer-facing roles - youβre comfortable having strategic conversations and translating complex problems into simple solutions
β’ Deep curiosity about AI, LLMs, and prompt design
β’ Experience using data to tell stories and drive business decisions
Preferred:
β’ Hands-on experience with LLM tools (OpenAI, Claude, etc.)
β’ Familiarity with tools like LangChain, Replit, n8n, Lovable, or similar
β’ Past roles in marketing analytics, BI, growth, or strategy consulting
β’ You've worked at a DTC brand, ecommerce agency, or martech SaaS company
