Role description
Amazon & Ecommerce Manager | Retail
UK remote (UK based candidates only please - sorry!)
£50-70k
Why should you join?
• Small but established business - almost 30 years in the making!
• Lovely founder who created the products out of a personal need and passion.
• New product lines and business areas always developing and hitting the market.
• B2C is a growing area, with Amazon the leading channel - you’ll own and develop this further, whilst also building other marketplaces and the DTC website.
• Work remotely within the UK (rare these days, so please form an orderly queue!)
The Role
You’ll be the go-to for all things ecommerce, with Amazon taking up around 75% of your focus. You’ll also manage Walmart and other online channels, including the DTC website. Key areas you’ll oversee include:
• Managing and growing Amazon marketplaces - listings, ads, inventory, customer service, and compliance.
• Creating and optimising product titles, descriptions, and images.
• Developing strategies to improve visibility, sales, and customer satisfaction.
• Managing Walmart Marketplace in the same way - listings, ads, inventory, and service.
• Overseeing the company website - SEO, content updates, promotions, and usability.
• Analysing performance data to spot opportunities and improve conversions.
• Managing digital marketing channels - online ads, social media sales, email campaigns, and more (this can be outsourced if you don’t have direct experience - but if you’re happy to learn, even better!).
You
• Strong Amazon Seller Central experience.
• Experience with Walmart would be an advantage, but it can also be learned.
• Solid grasp of ecommerce principles - from online sales and marketing to social media and customer behaviour.
• Data driven, with a knack for spotting trends and turning them into action.
• Comfortable juggling multiple platforms, projects, and deadlines.
• A commercial, hands on operator who can roll up their sleeves and get stuck in.
