Position Overview:
This is a full-time remote role for an Area Revenue Director at Première Advisory Group. The Area Revenue Director will be responsible for overseeing the revenue, distribution, and sales strategy across all booking channels. The role involves implementing customized revenue management solutions, optimizing distribution channels, and providing eCommerce & marketing support. Additionally, the Area Revenue Manager will be involved in RFP implementations and GDS audits.
Key Responsibilities:
Pricing & Rate Strategy
• Work with client to update Rates at scheduled intervals per week, providing rate updates suggestions and strategies.
• Establish and maintain hotel pricing levels in all segments.
• Perform unconstrained demand analysis to determine optimal business mix.
• Oversee process for evaluating all opportunities for contracted business (group, wholesale, corporate negotiated, etc.).
• Support hotel’s yield efforts, via analysis and reporting based on budget, forecast, pace and market demand.
Inventory & Revenue Management
• Responsible for the daily room inventory management process and daily pricing process.
• Monitor and communicate fluctuations in occupancy to operational departments.
• Responsible for all short- and long-term forecasts including Weekly, 30/60/90, and Full-year.
• Prepare annual Rooms revenue budget.
• Maximize revenue potential and ensure proactive and accurate maintenance of all distribution channels.
Market Analysis & Competitive Benchmarking
• Monitor competitor rates, positioning, strategies, and data.
• Analyze local events and activities and project the effect of opportunities they will create.
• Understand macro and micro-economic variables affecting supply and demand.
• Monitor RevPAR index on STR report and provide critical analysis.
Reporting & Forecasting
• Own and validate all required data entry for daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Ensure reports are maintained and analyzed, including STR, Market Segment Analysis, Source Contribution, Internet Production, Pickup and Pace by Segment.
• Craft weekly and monthly performance updates for clients.
• Prepare and present quarterly presentations to ownership.
Distribution & Channel Management
• Ensure all distribution channels have correct content and pricing.
• Maximize and manage all Distribution channels accurately.
• Develop and maintain close relationship with market managers of Third-Party Intermediaries.
Systems & Tools Management
• Responsible for maintenance of software programs contributing to rooms revenue: CRS, RMS, PMS, Sales & Catering system.
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
• Chair weekly Revenue Strategy meetings to formulate and disseminate strategies and tactics.
• Ensure that prior decisions are re-visited and learning is promoted.
Qualifications
Experience:
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in revenue management roles within the hotel/hospitality industry.
• Proven experience configuring, optimizing and utilizing key hotel systems including Lighthouse Rate Shop, Amadeus Demand360, Opera Cloud PMS, StayNTouch PMS, SynXis CRS, iHotelier CRS, Duetto RMS, and IDeas G3 RMS.
Skills:
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights and solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present data clearly both internally and externally.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with experience in creating detailed reports and forecasts.
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
