Job Summary
Assistant The E-commerce & IT Operations Manager will support the E-commerce & IT
Operations Manager in overseeing day-to-day e-commerce platform activities and IT operations.
This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate
between various teams to ensure smooth business operations, timely problem-solving, and
continuous improvement of systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in managing the daily operations of the e-commerce platform, including product
listings, inventory updates, and order processing.
• Support IT operations including troubleshooting, system monitoring, and coordinating
maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with marketing, logistics, customer service, and IT teams to ensure seamless
operational workflows.
• Help monitor website performance and analytics to identify areas for improvement.
• Assist with vendor and third-party service provider communications and management.
• Maintain accurate documentation of processes, technical issues, and resolutions.
• Assist with system upgrades, testing new software or features, and training end-users.
• Support inventory control and stock reconciliation processes.
• Prepare reports and presentations for management on operational metrics and IT
performance.
• Help enforce data security and compliance policies.
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in, Information Technology or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years experience in e-commerce operations, IT support, or related roles.
• Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify,) and IT infrastructure.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
• Knowledge of basic IT troubleshooting and support.
