Russell Tobin's leading retail brand client is hiring for an Assistant Internet Merchandiser to join the team on a contract basis. Position: Assistant Internet Merchandiser Location: Onsite – Columbus, OH Duration: 8 months (with potential extension) Pay: $15–$20 per hour (W2) Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours Role Overview: As an Assistant Internet Merchandiser, you will support the online merchandising team by ensuring product details and site accuracy across the brand’s e-commerce platform. You’ll work closely with Merchants to execute assortment plans, maintain product accuracy, and support site launches. Key Responsibilities: • Proof and test website functionality, ensuring smooth product launches. • Maintain accurate product information including style number, pricing, descriptions, sizes, colors, and images. • Execute assortment and product placement plans as defined by the Merchant team. • Generate reports on internet customer metrics and analyze past sales trends. • Partner with Merchants to identify and resolve stock or availability issues. • Ensure site reflects correct product hierarchy, swatches, and features. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. • 2–4 years of progressive experience in merchandising and e-commerce. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
