Job Summary:
As an Associate Director of Paid Social, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the proper development and execution of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) by the team. You will consistently re-evaluate processes to identify opportunities for improvement, expansion, and evolution. You will support the hands-on implementation of strategic initiatives and drive operational excellence within the digital marketing agency. Additionally, you will provide guidance and direction to team members, foster a culture of collaboration and innovation, and ensure efficient and effective project execution. You will also play a key role in building and maintaining strong client relationships, contributing to business development efforts, and advancing the agency’s reputation and market position.
Key Responsibilities:
• SOP Development and Execution: Ensure the proper development and execution of SOPs by the team to maintain adherence to Paid Social and company processes.
• Process Improvement: Regularly re-evaluate processes to identify opportunities for improvement, expansion, or evolution, ensuring operational excellence.
• Blueprint Implementation: Proficiently implement the blueprint for success and adopt all products when applicable.
• Media Planning: Create well-informed plans and forecasts that guide the media buying process to achieve a client’s goals.
• Media Buying: Demonstrate expertise in media buying, benchmarking, measuring, and reporting on campaign performance.
• Media Strategy: Understands the various funnel stages and the messaging tactics needed to make an impact across each.
• Client Onboarding: Facilitate successful onboarding of new customers, develop initial digital marketing strategies, and ensure smooth transition to the team.
• Strategic Initiative Support: Support the implementation of strategic initiatives, providing guidance and direction to team members.
• Team Management: Manage a full team of direct reports at various levels, fostering a positive environment that promotes LSG values, hard work, collaboration, and innovation. Understand when to delegate tasks and how to set up team members for success in completing them.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, contribute to business development efforts, and advance the agency’s reputation and market position. Identify opportunities and support in the process to upsell additional marketing channels and agency lines of services to help clients advance their impact.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on key performance metrics, including conversion rates, cost per acquisition, and return on ad spend. Ensure that budgets are not exceeded.
• Operational Excellence: Drive operational excellence by ensuring projects are executed efficiently and effectively, meeting or exceeding company-wide policies and expectations.
• Leadership and Mentorship: Provide mentorship, training, and opportunities for growth to team members, attracting and retaining talent instrumental to the success of LSG and the Paid Social department.
• AI Enablement: You will ensure that AI is effectively utilized across day-to-day functions to improve efficiency, enhance decision-making, and drive innovation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Location: East Coast or willing to work East Coast hours.
• Experience: Agency experience, working on multiple e-commerce brands at once with a strong emphasis on customer acquisition and brand growth through conversion tactics.
• Title: Currently or has recently held a minimum of a Manager position.
• Verticals: Fashion, Beauty, and Health experience are a plus.
• Platform: Advanced knowledge of Meta and TikTok are a must.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in Paid Social.
• Leadership Skills: Proven leadership abilities with a track record of managing large teams and driving significant business results.
• Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to develop and implement innovative digital marketing strategies.
