About the Role
We are seeking a performance-driven Associate Director of Paid Social Media to lead growth across our social platforms. In this role, you will own, execute, and optimize our paid social strategy across key platforms. This position is unique in that while it sits at a senior level, the Associate Director will be hands-on in campaign management—building, launching, analyzing, and scaling paid social programs to drive measurable growth
The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist and operator: able to think big about paid social’s role in the customer journey while rolling up their sleeves to execute with precision
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Execution
• Optimize and scale up campaigns based on performance metrics (CAC, New Customer ROAS, CTR, CVR, etc.) and provide actionable insights
• Directly manage campaigns end-to-end: audience targeting, creative testing, bid strategies, budgets, and optimizations
• Lead the development and implementation of paid social strategies across Meta, TikTok, and emerging platforms
• Partner with creative teams to brief, test, and refine ad assets that resonate with target audiences
Optimization & Analytics
• Own day-to-day campaign management, pacing, and bid/budget adjustments
• Run A/B and multivariate tests across audiences, creative, placements, and formats
• Collaborate with analytics to ensure proper tracking, attribution, and reporting
Cross-functional Collaboration
• Partner with growth, e-commerce, and product teams to align paid social with full-funnel marketing strategies
• Communicate results and learnings to leadership with clear recommendations
• Mentor and guide junior team members or agency partners, while still being directly accountable for execution.
Qualifications
• 5–7+ years of hands-on experience managing paid social campaigns (Meta Ads Manager required; TikTok Ads Manager highly preferred
• Proven track record of driving measurable growth (CAC efficiency, ROAS improvements, revenue scaling)
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in campaign data, attribution models, and testing frameworks
• Experience with e-commerce, DTC, or performance-driven marketing strongly preferred
• Ability to balance strategy and execution—comfortable setting the vision and pressing the buttons
• Excellent communication skills for presenting data, insights, and recommendations to leadership
• Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Shopify, Triple Whale/Northbeam, or similar is a plus
