We are seeking a skilled media planning and performance expert to lead the strategic planning, execution, and optimization oversight of media campaigns across multiple channels. This role will oversee yearly and quarterly media strategy, work closely with internal teams and external partners, and ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives. This role requires strong DTC performance marketing knowledge, leadership, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of the media landscape.
This role will serve as the bridge between paid media, content strategy, and DTC business goals, ensuring alignment across all channels to maximize customer acquisition, retention, and overall performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in media strategy, paid content best practices, performance marketing, and have worked on direct to consumer brands.
This role will oversee a portfolio of brands in the beauty, home decor, and lifestyle industries.
Job Description:
โข Develop and refine the yearly and quarterly media strategy, ensuring paid media campaigns drive customer acquisition, conversion, and retention.
โข Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for agency performance, ensuring accountability and alignment with business goals.
โข Identify gaps and opportunities in the media mix across search, social, programmatic, online video, and editorial partnerships.
โข Responsible for developing and implementing integrated media strategies across CTV, OOH, audio, editorial partnerships, and innovation partners.
โข Collaborate with the performance marketing team to define the overall media mix, budget allocation, and audience segmentation strategy for performance campaigns on search, social, and programmatic.
โข Analyze and deliver regular reporting on paid media performance, customer acquisition, and overall DTC growth.
โข Stay ahead of industry trends and identify new opportunities to improve media efficiency and effectiveness including ad format, content, and targeting innovations.
โข Learn under the Growth Director to develop and execute strategies to drive DTC growth, balancing customer acquisition costs (CAC) with lifetime value (LTV).
โข Partner with internal teams (e.g., product, creative, and e-commerce) to align quarterly media efforts with broader DTC growth goals.
โข Collaborate with ecommerce teams to enhance customer retention and re-engagement.
โข Partner with the content and creative teams to align messaging with media strategy.
Qualifications
โข Bachelorโs degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
โข 5โ7+ years of experience in media planning, buying, and DTC brands (agency and in-house experience preferred).
โข 3-4 years of experience in performance marketing
โข Extensive client-facing experience with a proven track record in relationship management.
โข Strong knowledge of digital platforms (e.g., Meta, Google, TikTok, CTV, programmatic) and DTC growth levers.
โข Proven experience managing teams and driving accountability.
โข Analytical mindset with an expert understanding of performance marketing metrics (e.g., ROAS, CAC, LTV).
โข Ability to work cross-functionally with product, creative, and e-commerce teams.
