About the Role: We are a Los Angeles-based women's wear brand seeking an organized, detail-oriented Associate Retail Buyer/Planner to support our retail business. This role is key in managing buying, planning, reporting, inventory reconciliation, and cross-functional coordination across multiple retail partners. Key Responsibilities: • Managing our ecommerce buying and unique retail partnership program. • Review new account opportunities and assess compatibility through data analysis. • Support store buy processes and create detailed seasonal store packages and delivery calendars. • Communicate regularly with retail partners on weekly selling trends and data insights. • Track product performance • Update files and forecasts as product drops occur or delivery schedules shift. • Coordinate end-of-season reconciliation processes. • Communicate timelines and lead times with internal teams to ensure smooth operations. • Manage inventory levels, fill-ins, and low-stock action plans. • Monitor inventory and make recommendations for markdowns. • Maintain and execute the retail calendar. • Maintain accurate order and stock reporting across platforms. Qualifications: • 3+ years of retail buying, planning or wholesale operations experience. • Strong proficiency in Excel; comfort with pivot tables, formulas (vlookups and nesting formulas), and data analysis. • Experience with Shopify and ERP systems. • Strong understanding of inventory and product life cycle in digital retail. • Excellent communication and project coordination skills. • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities.
