The Mom Project is excited to partner with our client, who is dedicated to growing and managing the businesses of their retail partners. With over fifty years of experience, they connect top vendors with retailers across the country with a team of professional sales representatives covering fifty states, six beautiful showrooms and two wholesale B2B websites – available 24/7 for browsing and shopping. They're on the hunt for a dynamic B2B Sales & Customer Engagement Specialist to join their team (Part-Time to start, with a potential move to Full-Time). In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of our growth, reaching out to potential customers, reconnecting with lapsed and current customers, and building our community through a mix of calls and engaging email campaigns. You'll get to be a sales whiz, a marketing guru, and a relationship expert all rolled into one. Key Responsibilities Lead Follow-Up & Conversion β€’ Make consistent outbound calls and send follow-up emails to prospective and existing customers. β€’ Convert warm leads and inquiries into active buyers by guiding them through sign-up and ordering processes. Customer Reactivation & Retention β€’ Proactively reach out to lapsed or inactive accounts with personalized campaigns. β€’ Re-engage retailers through phone conversations, targeted emails, and exclusive promotions. Sales Outreach & Relationship Building β€’ Build strong rapport with buyers by providing excellent service, timely responses, and solutions to objections. β€’ Actively manage customer pipeline in CRM, ensuring thorough documentation of outreach and results. Email Marketing & Campaign Optimization β€’ Support sales managers in creating and executing email campaigns to highlight new brands, products, and promotions. β€’ Use A/B testing and performance tracking to continuously improve open and conversion rates. Website & Digital Engagement β€’ Assist with website content updates, product descriptions, and promotional banners to improve retailer engagement. β€’ Encourage adoption and usage of annemcgilvray.com and blakeroad.com as primary ordering platforms. Sales Data & Insights β€’ Track call activity, customer engagement, and sales performance to identify trends and opportunities. β€’ Manipulate and pull data from vendor-provided Excel spreadsheets to support reporting, account targeting, and promotional analysis. β€’ Provide feedback to sales leadership on outreach effectiveness and customer needs. Key Performance Metrics β€’ Outbound Activity: Number of calls and follow-up emails completed weekly. β€’ Lead Conversion: Percentage of warm leads converted into active accounts. β€’ Account Reactivation: Number of lapsed or inactive accounts re-engaged per month. β€’ Email Campaign Engagement: Open rates, click-through rates, and conversions tied to outreach campaigns. β€’ Excel Reporting: Accuracy, timeliness, and usability of reports generated from vendor-provided spreadsheets. β€’ Customer Adoption: Increased ordering activity through annemcgilvray.com and blakeroad.com. Requirements β€’ 1–2 years of experience in sales, cold-calling, or customer outreach, ideally within wholesale, eCommerce, or retail. β€’ Not afraid of rejection and motivated by persistence and results. β€’ Strong phone and email communication skills; proven ability to convert leads into sales. β€’ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel β€” ability to manipulate and pull data from vendor-provided spreadsheets (e.g., filtering, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, sorting large datasets). β€’ Familiarity with CRM systems, email marketing platforms, and digital tools (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp, Canva). β€’ Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. β€’ Experience with wholesale marketplaces or B2B ordering platforms is a plus.
